Airbags are safety-critical and must be installed by a qualified technician. The SRS system needs scanning for stored faults after fitting, and a module that has recorded a deployment event will require attention of its own.
Every airbag we offer is undeployed and comes from a donor vehicle that was not in a front-impact collision. Units are matched on part number, because trim level and restraint configuration both change what the vehicle was built with.
Testing depends on the component — compression and leak-down on engines, gear cycling on transmissions, bench testing on electrical units. The result is recorded before the part is listed.
These are used components from graded donor vehicles, so expect normal cosmetic wear. What we guarantee is function: the part is verified to work correctly before it goes out.
